The sequel...

Since Playmobil's manufacturer - Geobra Brandstatter put an end to The Green Man being a commercial venture back in February, the sequel - "The Doomsday Tablet" has had to be put on hold.

The manufacturer however kindly approved continued publication and production of my comics on a non-commercial basis (and have supported me in my bid to make the The Green Man freely available on Facebook and in their forthcoming fan website).

Good and Bad News

First the bad news - last month Geobra Brandstatter contacted me about my book, and I was hopeful they would reconsider licensing it, as the approach was informal and friendly. After a series of meetings however, it was apparent they did not want me to sell the book. Thomas Swift Productions is therefore now a non-commercial venture, and I'm unsure I'll ever be able to complete "The Doomsday Tablet". Future of Thomas Swift

Two US sellers have got "The Green Man" for sale on Amazon at £87-£90. I just wanted to say don't break your piggy banks - more copies of the English edition should be available later in the year ;)

I'm not sure what it says about the book, but I'll pretend that if they didn't like the book, they'd be selling it at close or below what they paid for it ;)

Hello!

I thought I'd start a blog to keep you up-to-date on all 'Thomas Swift' matters, and to flag up when new stuff has been added to the website.

At the moment I'm putting together the printed versions of "The Green Man", creating a larger page format so more of the detail in the pictures can be seen. I've also had to do a back cover. I hope to get everything to the printers by early next week.

French and German versions of the website should be available by then too.
